A work of Arabic calligraphy is on display at a Chinese ethnic art exhibition featuring works of painting, calligraphy, photography and Thangka opened in Lanzhou, Gansu province on June 15, 2014. Being jointly organized by the Gansu Ethnic Affair Commission, the provincial artists association of Gansu, and the society of Muslim painting, calligraphy, and photography of Gansu province, the exhibition has collected over 600 works from 250 artists of 12 Chinese ethnic minority groups including the Hui nationality, Tibetan nationality, and the Bouyei nationality.
