Police officers check an elephant carcass found in a forest at a nature reserve near Manpa Village, Dai Autonomous Prefecture in Xishuangbanna, Southwest China's Yunnan province. The body of the wild Asian elephant was found with its tusks seized by poachers in the forest on October 16, 2014. Trajectory analysis showed that the elephant was killed by someone with a military gun.
