Two mascots of Beijing's Palace Museum make their debut at an exposition in Xiamen, Fujian province on November 23, 2014. The mascots “Zhuangzhuang” and “Meimei” take dragon and phoenix as character prototypes respectively. Feng Hui, director of Palace Museum’s cultural service center, said these mascots as the first one of the museum are introduced to make foreign friends know more about Chinese culture.
