Archaeologists excavate the wreck of Nanhai One, an ancient Chinese merchant ship in a museum of Guangzhou. With the excavation of the interior starting, archaeologists expect to unveil more details of the Maritime Silk Road. First discovered in 1987 off the coast near Yangjiang, the vessel dates back to the Southern Song Dynasty in the 13th century and is recognized as one of the oldest and biggest merchant boats ever sunk in Chinese waters.
