Chinese mergansers spotted in SW China(3/4)

Several Chinese mergansers, an endangered bird species under the state class-one protection, are spotted near a river in Jiangjin District, southwest China's Chongqing Municipality, on Jan 7. Chinese mergansers, dubbed the "giant pandas" of birds, are species with a history of more than 27 million years. Its number is about 1,000 worldwide. [Photo/Xinhua]
