Artifacts from sunken Tang Dynasty ship on display in Toronto(1/10)

The Aga Khan Museum in Toronto, Canada cooperates with the Asian Civilisations Museum of Singapore and the Singapore Tourism Board to jointly organize an exhibition "Lost Dhow: A Discovery of the Maritime Silk Route" from Dec 13 2014 to Apr 26 2015. The exhibition features a stunning array of rare Tang Dynasty (618–907) artifacts from a shipwrecked dhow (an ocean-going vessel) discovered off Belitung Island in the western Java Sea in 1998. Hundreds of rare items, including luxury wares, gold and silver objects, and ceramics are featured in the exhibition.[Photo/ Xinhua]
