Two workers get pottery pieces out of a kiln at a workshop in Yingjing county, Southwest China’s Sichuan province. With a history of more than 2,000 years of producing pottery, the county is famous for its black pottery, listed as national intangible cultural heritage. The pottery, which usually dries to a silver-gray, is made from a unique clay found in the county combined with local coal ash. The bowl-like structure is used to store food and for decoration nowadays. [Photo: China News Service/ Zhang Lang]
