China’s first rainbow tunnel opens to traffic (1/5)

Vehicles run under a newly-built rainbow coloured tunnel in Zhengzhou, Central China’s Henan province. The 400-meter-long tunnel, the first of its kind in China, has a total investment of nearly 100 million yuan ($16 million), according to construction workers. From both ends to the middle section, the color transitions from purple to blue to help drivers get used to the light change as they enter and exit the tunnel, sources said.
