Sheng Shijing re-checks characters he selected at Xinxing Printing Workshop in Chaohu City, east China's Anhui province, March 30, 2015. Sheng Shijing, the owner of "Xinxing Printing Workshop", has devoted most of his life to studying movable-type printing, one of the world's oldest printing techniques invented in China. Despite of the invasion of modern technology, the 76-year-old man persisted in replenishing his inventory of characters. He has collected tens of thousands of characters in five different fonts and types so far. He wanted to turn the workshop into a museum of movable-type printing so as to pass the old technique down to next generations. (Photo: Xinhua/Du Yu)
