Blacksmith Tian Hongming, 64, works in his traditional workshop in Changchun, capital of Northeast China’s Jilin province. Although few people now need metal products handmade by a blacksmith, Tian, who has worked in the industry for more than 40 years, still sticks to his old occupation. The work involves time-consuming, labor-intensive aspects such as forging, drawing, bending, punching, and cutting. (Photo: China News Service/Zhang Yao)
