Two motorcyclists from southwest China's Chongqing, 57-year-old Li Yuejin and 63-year-old Zou Shengchang, challenged the mountainous zigzag, also called 24-zig, on Thursday within 30 minutes. The mountainous zigzag, a section of the famous Stilwell Road, witnessed more than 2,000 trucks fully loaded with military supplies passed by daily in World War II. Therefore, it is acknowledged as "the lifeline of the Resistance War against Japanese". (Xinhua/Liu Chan)
