Liu Guangzhi, who was born in Chongqing and fought Japanese troops during the Second World War, has donated over 130 Flying Tigers-themed items to the museum, including stamps and postcards. Liu now lives in Taiwan. The Flying Tigers, also known as the 1st American Volunteer Group, were a group of American and Chinese pilots fighting together against invading Japanese troops during the Second World War.
