Workers paint a 900-meter-high cliff in Ganshui town, Qijiang district, Southwest China’s Chongqing municipality. A local villager thought the original white cliff wall harmed the feng shui of his home so hired workers to paint nearly 2,000 square meters green. Local authorities have started investigating the possible environmental damage of the act. Feng shui is an ancient Chinese system of summoning good luck, and it is usually used to orientate buildings by looking at features such as bodies of water, stars, or a compass. (Photo/CFP)
