As the V-Day parade is approaching, everyone in China is busy in preparing. This “everyone” includes two kinds of animals: monkeys and eagles. While macaques are taught to scamper up trees and rip down bird’s nests, eagles are trained to frighten birds away. To ensure flight safety for rehearsals and on the day of the parade, these helpers have been working hard to get rid any obstacles to prevent bird strikes, which are a headache for aviation. The collision could cause severe consequences due to high-speed, and these airborne animals can get stuck in engines. China will hold a grand military parade on September 3 to mark the 70th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War.
