Bronze Ding with Human Faces, one of China’s most-known cultural relics from the Shang Dynasty (1600-1100 B.C.), is being prepared for an exhibition at the Sanxingdui Museum in Guanghan City, Southwest China’s Sichuan Province, July 10, 2016. A Chinese Ding is something like a tripod. The device measures 38.5 centimeters high, 29.8 centimeters long, and 23.7 centimeters wide. The most attractive parts are the four human face reliefs on its belly. More than 100 national treasures from several museums across the country will be displayed at a show about bronze civilization in the Yellow River and Yangtze River valleys from July 18.
