Xie Zhonggui makes animal specimens in his home in Southwest China’s Chongqing Municipality. Xie began learning the craft after feeling bad about the deaths of birds at his farm in 1990s. For more than 20 years, he travelled extensively to enhance his techniques and also made specimens of animals of different sizes ranging from an elephant to a goldfish.
