Cumberbatch, whose appearance triggered a sensational scene from fans last night, said it was amazing to play the role. He mentioned that the difference between Dr. Strange and other Marvel superheroes such as Thor is that the character is mortal, not devine. "The whole idea going intoDoctor Strangewas to make a new kind of movie, not just a new kind of superhero movie. To use big-budget visual effects, to do things we haven't seen before. So the audience can expect to have new experiences that they haven't had before in Doctor Strange," Derrickson said. Doctor Strange stars Benedict Cumberbatch, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Rachel McAdams, Benedict Wong, Michael Stuhlbarg, Benjamin Bratt and Scott Adkins, with Mads Mikkelsen and Tilda Swinton. "Doctor Strange" will open in Chinese and U.S. theaters on Nov 4.
