A member of the diving taskforce, a unit Special Forces at the Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau, trains in Beijing. The taskforce founded in 1984 has 20 special police officers responsible for checking water security during important events. The force usually requires a member to complete a comprehensive three-year training program that has a passing rate as low as 20 percent.
