Two Chinese scholar trees, both more than 300 years old, are under protection at a construction site in Zhengzhou City, Central China’s Henan Province, Jan. 10, 2017. It’s said members of the Wang clan moved to live near the trees during the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) and later the place became a village, home to mainly Wang families. The site is currently being redeveloped. (Photo/CFP)
