A Chinese cultural troupe's performance under the title of "Culture of China Festival of Spring" premiered at Yangon's National Theatre on Wednesday, sending New Year greetings to the Chinese community in Myanmar.
The cultural troupe, organized by the China Overseas Exchange Association, presented a variety of dances, songs, instrumental music and magic show.
The artists' performance attracted and moved the audience, winning waves of applause.
Director of the cultural troupe Li Mingjia said the whole performance was designed to make the audience feel the charm of Chinese culture.
Chairman of the Chinese Chambers of Commerce Wu Jiyuan told Xinhua that such cultural exchange activities provide a window for the next generation of the Myanmar-Chinese to learn more about China.
