Qatar Airways claims record for world's longest flight(3/3)

Qatar Airways' longest flight in the world has landed 15 minutes early at Auckland Airport after leaving Doha over 16 hours ago. Qatar's 777 has received a traditional water canon welcome at Auckland. The plane has crossed 10 time zones on its flight. Flight time on the route is 16 hours, 10 minutes, on the New Zealand-bound leg. The return, which typically faces more headwinds, is scheduled for a whopping 17 hours, 30 minutes, according to the carrier’s website. (Photo/Agencies)
