Accompanied by his mother, a young polar bear born at Finland's Ranua Wildlife Park late last year ventures outside its den for the first time on March 15, 2017, tumbling around in the snow. Visitors watched as the cub and its mother Venus slowly explored the outside surroundings. According to the park, "the successful procreation of polar bears kept in captivity is extremely rare", with half dying before getting to five days old. Venus gave birth to two cubs on Nov. 25 last year but one died after 10 days. (Photo/Agencies)
