The Xinmu Cinema, located in a quadrangle courtyard in Beijing, has shown more than 600 films for the blind each Saturday morning since 2005. Xinmu means the heart and eye in Chinese. The cinema is actually a small room, at a size of 20 square meters, equipped with a LCD TV, a DVD player and some chairs. The blind can listen as a narrator helps tell the story of the film. Some cinema-goers travel from suburban areas to experience a film there. (Photo: China News Service/Fu Yu)
