Pandas might fancy noshing on bamboo shoots, but a different plant is keeping them stylish and cool this summer. With temperatures climbing, the cute bears at the China Conservation and Research Center for the Giant Panda, in the southwestern province of Sichuan, are fighting the heat with hats made of lotus leaves. But it's not a one-size-fits-all kind of accessory. Each panda is getting a customized cap that fits their heads with the leaves holed according to the distance between their ears.
