A real artwork is never completed by chance; neither are the seals from Master Wang Xuebo's hands, behind which there are elaborated work and careful thoughts. He has been in this field for more than 15 years and has carved more than 1,000 seals. Sometimes, when he has inspiration, a seal can be made without any scripts. Wang dresses simply and lives in a 3-square-meter workshop. There is barely space for him to sit, excluding a shelf on the wall and a workbench full of seals, books, brush pens and other tools. But it is a place he would like to stay for a whole week. Wang is confident in his works; he always says, “Seal-engraving entails skills and crafts, which attracts customers even in a fiercely competitive market." (Photo/CCTV.com)
