The tiny Philippine cockatoo is weighed not long after hatching at Bristol Zoo in the UK. The chick's family are being kept under close surveillance because the parents have never reared any young before. The bird is on the International Union for Conservation of Nature's red list. Their population has drastically fallen due to widespread loss of its lowland habitats and trapping for the cage bird trade. (Photo/VCG)
