200,000 fish fry released into Heilong River(1/6)

A Kaluga Sturgeon fry is released into the Heilong River in Fuyuan City, Northeast China’s Heilongjiang Province, Aug. 8, 2017. About 100 people participated in the event, releasing some 200,000 Kaluga Sturgeon fry in an attempt to improve fishing conditions. It is claimed the fish are the largest freshwater species in China, and they are mainly found in the Heilong River.
