A book reading event starts with a beautiful song in a bookstore in Xidao Village of Sanya City, South China’s Hainan Province, Sept. 5, 2017. Chen, 78, has made the bookstore, named Bookstore on the Sea, popular among 4,000 locals as well as visitors. It has more than 2,000 books on a broad range of topics, which Chen plans to increase to 4,000.
