The museum is showing more than 250 selected jade relics that date from the Xia (c.2100-1600 BC) and Shang (c.1600-1046 BC) dynasties excavated from 12 archeological sites mainly in Henan, Shandong and Sichuan provinces, making it the largest show of Xia and Shang jade artifacts. The development of jade crafts peaked in the two dynasties, exerting profound influence on jade culture later. (Photo: China News Service/Lyu Yang)
