U.S. company MegaBots’ creation called Eagle Prime defeated a Japanese bot named Kuratas by Suidobashi Heavy Industry 2-1 in the first giant robot fight, which was held in a steel plant in Japan. Eagle Prime stands an incredible 16 feet tall and weighs in at 12 tons. A human operator sits in the head of the robot controlling its movements. The Japanese bot weighs more than four tons and has a lower profile. Kuratas can be controlled by a cockpit pilot or remotely using a wireless device. (Photo/Agencies)
