A hand-drawn comic diary has become very popular among the staff at a primary school in Hangzhou, east China's Zhejiang Province.
The diary titled, "My Summer Diary," was written by 8-year-old Lv Xiaohan, a second grade student at Hangzhou Changjiang Experimental Primary School. Lv has enjoyed drawing since a very early age and started to complete the summer diary homework assignments by drawing comics when she was 6. The diary, childlike and creative, is full of witticisms and vivid drawings, which are all about her family, her classmates and animals. Lv's father then printed these drawings out into a small book as a gift for her teachers. "My daughter never went to a training class. I don't want to restrict her imagination and creativity. She created all the cartoon figures in her diary by herself," Lv's father said. (Photo/zjol.com.cn)
