Wuzhen, an ancient river town in Tongxiang city, East China's Zhejiang province, has become the permanent home of the World Internet Conference, also known as Wuzhen Summit, since 2014. The summit, to be held for the fourth time, will run from Dec 3 to 5 this year. Focusing on the digital economy, openness and sharing to build an online community of a shared future, it will gather 1,500 guests from around the world, including the heads of international organizations, leading figures in the internet industry, online celebrities and academics, according to Xinhua.
