Lin Xindong shows his creations in his home in Liuzhou City, South China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, March 13, 2018. After dropping out of high school two years into his study, he spent seven years learning the art of shadow carving with masters in Henan, Fujian and Shanghai. Craftsman use awls to drill small holes of various sizes and intensity to form a pattern on the marble slab.
