A resident walks on the Qingyang ancient street in Jiaoyuan Town of Xuan'en County in Enshi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, central China's Hubei province, March 27, 2014. Qingyang street has a history of over 200 years. Its stilted houses of the Tujia ethnic group are well preserved. From 1743 to 1940, it was an important pass of salt-trading roads linking Hunan, Hubei and Sichuan provinces. The local government has begun to conduct maintainance work on wooden stilted houses since January 2013. (Xinhua/Song Wen)
