A bullet train makes its maiden trip from a railway station in Guangzhou, South China’s Guangdong province to Nanning, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, Dec 26, 2014. Two high-speed railway lines linking Guangdong, Guangxi, and Guizhou provinces started full operation on Friday. The travel time from Guangzhou to Guiyang, capital city of Guizhou province is reduced from about 20 hours to 4 hours and nine minutes. The travel time from Guangzhou to Nanning is also reduced to 3 hours and 19 minutes from previous 14 hours. [Photo: China News Service/Long Yuyang]
