A dozen modern examples of arts and crafts were added to the collection of National Museum of China in Beijing on Monday in an effort to promote traditional handicraft techniques. The works show the country's age-old artistic traditions in jade carving, embroidery, porcelain making and thangka painting. Their creators are State-level masters of arts and craft and inheritors of national intangible cultural heritages.
