HK media mogul Shaw donates large sum for education development (4/10)

Photo taken on Nov 16, 1989 shows a ceremony celebrating the completion of the building named after Hong Kong media mogul and philanthropist Run Run Shaw at Nanjing University in Nanjing, capital of east China's Jiangsu province. Shaw, aged 107, passed away at home in Hong Kong, south China, on Jan 7, 2014. Shaw was enthusiastic for charity and donated more than 10 billion Hong Kong dollars (about 1.29 billion U.S. dollars) to the Chinese mainland, with a large sum for the development of its education.
