HK media mogul Shaw donates large sum for education development (9/10)

Photo taken in January 1991 shows a science museum named after Hong Kong media mogul and philanthropist Run Run Shaw at Xi'an Jiaotong University in Xi'an, capital of northwest China's Shaanxi province. Shaw, aged 107, passed away at home in Hong Kong, south China, on Jan 7, 2014. Shaw was enthusiastic for charity and donated more than 10 billion Hong Kong dollars (about 1.29 billion U.S. dollars) to the Chinese mainland, with a large sum for the development of its education.
