HK media mogul Shaw donates large sum for education development (7/10)

Photo taken on May 14, 1990 shows a ceremony celebrating the completion of the library named after Hong Kong media mogul and philanthropist Run Run Shaw at Naikai University in Tianjin, north China. Shaw, aged 107, passed away at home in Hong Kong, south China, on Jan 7, 2014. Shaw was enthusiastic for charity and donated more than 10 billion Hong Kong dollars (about 1.29 billion U.S. dollars) to the Chinese mainland, with a large sum for the development of its education.
